With all lost Gmail accounts happening a lot around, what should I do
to keep safe my emails?
The solution that I have in
ma mind is very simple and free but I can bet there are other paid ones that do well. What you have to do is just follow these simple steps.
-First of all ,download all of your emails on your computer using a piece of
free software like www.gmail-backup.com or maybe other but the whole idea is to create a local backup of the emails..
- But it might look crazy! because think if“You are currently using 4945 MB(65%) of your 7567 MB ” – the backup will take forever!
Well, isn ’t worth to be safe? :)
-Next step is to create a
new Gmail account and
-Restore all emails (backed
up in the previous step)
from your hard drive to the new email account.
-After that ,just setup Gmail to forward a
copy, using the POP/IMAP
feature, make all incoming emails you receive to the backup Gmail account.
- So what we did is, you will have all incoming emails in two different Gmail accounts.
-I'm not a kind, its the only way, and i'll be thankful if you share any other option that you know . .
