NOTE: Safety first. Please back up all your important data before updating firmware. If anything wrong happens to your phone, I shall not be responsible. I recommend you to download your original firmware first, and then download the new firmware so that you always be on the safe side.
NOTE: Make a backup of all your Contacts on phone memory and other data on phone memory to your PC or Memory card/ Syncronisation

About the firmware:

- xxxxxxxx.rc1 file
- xxxxxxxx.rc2 file (For the boot screen images)
- xxxxxxxx.ffs file (It contains everything needed for your phone to work)
- BOOTFILES Folder (It contains the phone's booting procedures)
- apps_compressed.bin file (For everything else)
So, now you know how your phone works? So, let's quickly go to the main thing: How to upgrade your firmware
Firmware Upgrade:
Things required:
- A firmware archive [New firmwares would be available on thecorbyworld.in for downloads]
- Multiloader v5.56
- USB Cable
- Switch off your phone and remove the battery, sim card and your micro SD card.
- Put only the battery back to its place and put the phone to download mode
- To set the phone to download mode, press the VOLUME DOWN , CAMERA AND POWER ON / CALL END KEY. You have to hold all these keys.
- After this, a black screen bordered in blue colour with a message DOWNLOAD will show up
- Now, connect your phone to the PC using an USB cable.
- Now, open Multiloader.
- Select BRCM2133, Tick "Boot Change" , "Full Download" , "Master ROM"
- Click Amss button and locate the "apps_compressed.bin" file
- Click Rsrc1 button and locate the "xxxxxxx.rc1" file
- Click Rsrc2 button and locate the "xxxxxxx.rc2" file
- Click Factory FS button and locate the "xxxxxx.ffs" file
- Click Boot and locate the "BOOTFILES" Folder.
- Now click Port Search and then click Download.
- Wait for ~10 mins. After that, remove the USB Cord and detach your phone.
- Restart your phone.
- Done! Your new firmware is installed!
To check the new firmware version, go to Keypad and type: *#1234#
